I have always been captivated by the intricacies of suspense and the power of mystery in storytelling. My approach to crafting compelling and unforgettable shorts is rooted in my passion for creating entertaining, thought-provoking, and original experiences that leave a lasting impact on the audience. I look forward to continuing to craft gripping stories that challenge, entertain, and push the boundaries of self made short films.

‘’This is my first short as a director and sole writer. I’ve always been interested in period films, and always thought how I could create that world with little to no budget. I also wanted to make a super short film that would cheer me up and make my family laugh. This is the result.’’

‘’On this project I was the producer, co-writer, editor and actor. I made this film with my partner Lewis Hayes (director, cinematographer, co-writer and sound design). I have family from both Russia and Ukraine. Hearing and seeing the stories of the pain, suffering and damage caused by the ongoing war, made us want to make this film with whatever means we had available to us. We shot this in Lewis’ home county of North Yorkshire.
Synopsis:
A young woman in Eastern Europe is dealing with grief and loss of a loved one. She returns to their ruined home in an attempt to reconnect to her past life, but all she has left are the memories that keep him alive and the ones that haunt her.
